Mackenlee Martin is an artist born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. From a young age she threw herself into the arts, quickly falling in love with photography. Her work combines digital and alternative photographic processes with printmaking techniques to explore topics of decay, religion, forgotten items, and southern life and landscapes. Martin has exhibited in multiple juried exhibitions along the east coast including the MVA Gallery in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and in several shows within her state. She has also appeared in the 67th Issue of Creative Quarterly and has appeared on their online gallery thrice.
