Glass Mountain accepts submissions of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and art. Give us your best material, and we will give it our fullest attention. We are unable to comment individually on submissions due to our small staff, but would like to assure the community at large that their submission will be considered by fellow writers and artists who want to showcase the work produced by their peers.

Submission Guidelines:
• We currently accept submissions from undergraduates at the University of Houston only.
• All submissions must include a cover page with the following information: author’s/artist’s name, phone number, email, and genre. Do not include author’s/artist’s name on the work itself.
• We accept submissions of fiction, creative nonfiction, and literary essays up to twenty (20) pages in length. Pieces should be double-spaced and in .doc, .docx, or .rtf format.
• We accept submissions of up to five (5) poems per author in .doc, .docx, or .rtf format.
• There is no limit to the number of art submissions an artist may send. Art should be submitted as an attachment in TIFF or JPEG format.
• You may submit to all genres.
• We do accept simultaneous submissions.
